Since visiting any church for the first time can be a little intimidating, we've put together some information to help answer questions and reduce your anxiety.

Here's what to expect when you visit Advent Lutheran Church:

We're located at 5901 San Juan Ave. in Citrus Heights, CA. (click here for MAP). We have plenty of parking, including Handicapp access in front of our church and we are fully wheelchair accessible.

Our Greeters and Ushers will give you a bulletin, answer questions, and assist you as needed. Relax, we will greet you with smiles and handshakes. We will not make you stand up or embarrass you!

We do not have a dress code. Worshipers at Advent Lutheran Church wear anything from jeans & t-shirts to suits & ties. Please wear whatever you feel most comfortable for you in this setting.

Children of all ages are always welcome to attend worship at any time and they are invited forward during service to hear a special message. However, if needed, we offer a supervised Nursery located in the church entry way, for children age 3 or younger.

We have an open table fellowship at Advent. All Christians are welcome to commune. Instructions for Communion procedures will be given during the service.

There will be a time during our service, when offering plates will be passed around. We do not expect or require visitors to put anything in the offering plate, though you are welcome to if you like. We thank you in advance for your offering.  You may also complete a Visitor Card to help us learn to know you, too.
