BIBLE STUDY
Retired Pastor Tom Kent Leads Bible Studies throughout the year.

WEDNESDAY LUTHERAN BASICS CLASS
Join us for lively Bible based discussion group from 12:30 pm - 2:00 pm in the Friendship Hall.

WEDNESDAYS at ADVENT 
Class from 6:15 pm - 7:00 pm engages adults in varied lively discussions.
  
WELCA (Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America)
All women are welcome to join our Women's Bible Study: 2nd Thursday at 10 am in the Friendship Hall. 

WOMEN of ADVENT
Our women meet for a Christmas program and a Mother-Daughter event in the spring. They also participate in volunteering for local charities throughout the year.
   
QUILTING GROUP meets 1st and 3rd Mondays of the month at 9:30 am. Join the group to do whatever you are able, from cutting squares to sewing the quilts. Lessons to those who want to learn more, cheerfully given. 

HEARTSTRINGS
Knitting group creates handmade hats for Chemo patients a local hospitals.

STERN-JOHNSON BIKE CLUB
This group of bicyclist of all experience levels meet on the 2nd and 4th Saturday mornings to enjoy a bike ride.  All are welcome.

SOCIAL KNITTING
All are welcome to this group, just bring your own knitting project and join the conversation.

The following committees meet monthly in the Friendship Hall.

Finance: deals with budget and expenditures on the
Wednesday before the 2nd Thursday of the month at 10 am
Christian Education: Children's Ministry, Youth Committee, Adult Studies
1st Tuesday of the month at 7 pm
Worship Ministry: Music and worship related activities 2nd Thursday of the month at 5:00 pm
Property: Maintenance of the physical church property every Tuesday morning; about 7:30 am in the summer, 8:45 am in the winter.  From pulling weeds and changing lights to building maintenance, all skills appreciated.  Donuts are also a priority.

These committees meet as announced:
Stewardship: expressing our thankfulness to God through our response of time, talent, 
possessions and daily ministry
Fellowship: planning social functions to further the church's ministries
Small Group: support, encourage and facilitate ideas for diverse interests within the church family
Personnel: assist with issues of staffing, employees and related issues
Visual Arts: beautification of the worship space
